Processing purposes and legal basis:
1. data processing is carried out for the purpose of contract initiation, contract execution and contract processing for the purchase of our goods. The processing of your data is necessary for the performance of a contract pursuant to Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR.
2. data processing is carried out for the purpose of our legitimate interests. This includes, among other things, correspondence data for communication with you (meeting notes, appointments, etc.), video surveillance to safeguard domiciliary rights, ensuring IT security and IT operations, checking and optimizing procedures for needs analysis and direct customer contact, asserting legal claims and defending legal disputes, measures for building and system security (e.g. access controls), use of our online customer portal. The processing of your data is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, except where such interests are overridden by the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data, in particular where the data subject is a child.
3. data processing is carried out for the purpose of sending promotional information, such as sales offers and product range information. The processing of your data is based on your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 letter a GDPR.
Recipient:
Within our company, the departments and persons who need this data to fulfill our contractual and legal obligations have access to the personal data. Furthermore, the data is transferred to processors employed by us in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. These primarily include companies in the areas of IT service providers, data disposal, marketing, printing and office services. In addition, ancillary service providers may receive data to support the execution of the order. These primarily include companies in the areas of postal and courier services, logistics, tax consultancy, pure telecommunications services, credit institutions and credit agencies. It may also be necessary to transfer data if there are legal or official obligations to do so. These recipients primarily include public bodies and institutions, such as government offices or tax authorities.
Transmission to third countries:
The transfer of personal data to recipients in third countries does not take place.
Duration of storage:
1. we only store your data for as long as this is necessary to fulfill contractual or legal obligations or on the basis of a legitimate interest. If these bases cease to apply, the data will be deleted regularly. There are exceptions to this if further processing is necessary for the following purposes:
- Retention and verification obligations, e.g. arising from the German Commercial Code (HGB) or the German Fiscal Code (AO) - the periods here are up to 10 years
- Limitation periods, e.g. according to §§195 ff. of the German Civil Code (BGB) - the limitation periods here are usually 3 years, but can also be up to 30 years in certain cases.
2. you can revoke the storage of data based on your consent at any time with effect for the future. Processing that took place before the revocation is not affected by this.
3 Video surveillance data is stored for up to 72 hours to ensure effective protection of persons and our inventory. During periods of inactivity, e.g. due to public holidays, the video recordings may be stored for a longer period of time in order to assert domiciliary rights and prosecute any criminal offenses.
Your rights:
If the legal requirements are met, you have the following rights under Art. 15 to 21 GDPR: Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR) and right to rectification (Art. 16 GDPR) or erasure (Art. 17 GDPR) or restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR) or objection to processing (Art. 21 GDPR) as well as a right to data portability (Art. 20 GDPR).
Right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority:
In accordance with Art. 77 GDPR, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority if you believe that your personal data is being processed unlawfully.
